5D4N Route: From Tochigi to Nagatoro, Kawagoe

You can see and pet various animals, including the rare sand cats, go horse and camel riding, and join many other activities.

The shrine where the first shogun of the Tokugawa Clan, Ieyasu Tokugawa, was enshrined. The shrine complex was listed as a world cultural heritage in 1999, and is famous for the carvings of the three wise monkeys that represents "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil."

There are 48 curves on this sightseeing road that connects the Nikko city area and Lake Chuzenji/Oku Nikko. During autumn, when the red leaves are in season, this place is so famous that the roads are often jammed.

Stroll the town where the old warehouses and western-style buildings still stand. You can also take the sightseeing boat down the Uzuma River that is situated in the middle of the town.

Enjoy an exciting ride down the Nagatoro Line Kudari with its natural rough waves on an old-fashioned Japanese boat. In winter, kotatsu boats are also available.
