5D4N Route: Arrival/Departure at Asashikawa Airport　Asashikawa, Furano, Tokachi, Kushiro, Abashiri

Located right next to Tokachigawa Onsen, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the early morning sky of Tokachi from 30m above ground. Below you can see the Tokachi River and Hidaka Mountains.

Aside from the exhibitions about the Kushiro Marsh, you can also overlook the marsh and town area, as well as the mountains of Akan, from the observation room/rooftop.

This is a hot spring village with an abundant amount of hot spring water overflowing into the river. The spring water has a heatretaining and sterilizing effect. The hot spring village is well known as a therapeutic hot spring.

An observation deck where you can view Lake Mashu, one of the few caldera lakes in Japan. As it is designated as a special protection area, there are no buildings in the area, giving it a magnificent panoramic view.

An establishment preserving and exhibiting Abashiri's historical prison. Part of the building was designated as an important cultural property in 2016. You can also taste the food served in the current Abashiri Prison here.
